On Friday, May 4th 2018 was held the opening of the photographic exhibition "Common Ground" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, with photos from Indonesia and Argentina by Argentine photographers Miguel Lecuona and Paula Carlino, respectively.

The opening remarks were delivered by the Argentine Ambassador in Indonesia, H.E. Ricardo Bocalandro and the Director General for American and European Affairs of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Muhammad Anshor. The opening was also attended by the artist Miguel Lecuona, an Argentine national resident in Jakarta, Indonesian and Argentine diplomatic officials, and members of the Argentine and Latin American community residing in Indonesia.

The exhibition tries to reinforce the links that unite both countries through textures, colors, emphasizing the common perspectives of our cultures. It will be operational until the public until May 11th 2018.

It is worthy to mention that this is the first time that a foreign country makes a joint exhibition with Indonesia at the Kantin Diplomasi of its Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
