Programa Sur contemplates this year the subsidy of 150 new works whose applications will be received until September 30, 2015 and which must be published before November 30, 2016.  The Program was created in 2009 with the aim of promoting worldwide spreading of the Argentine literature, through subsidies to the translation of works of Argentine authors into different languages.
So far, the Program has already approved the subsidy of 854 works translated into 38 different languages, published in 44 countries, with a budget of US$1.990.000.
