Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Indonesia, Asociation of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Democratic Republic of East Timor.

The Embassy of the Argentine Republic is part of the Diplomatic and Consular Representations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Argentine Republic. Its jurisdiction comprises the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, and concurrently in East Timor. Since January 2012, we represented the Argentine Republic to the Asociation of South East Nations (ASEAN).

Its main imperative and mission is to watch over the Argentinean national interests, as well as to encourage and propitiate the political and economic partnership with the aforementioned countries. The Embassy is also a center for the diffusion of the Argentinean culture – in all its manifestations – including the promotion of our country as a tourist destination.  

The Consular Section is responsible for the assistance to Argentinean nationals in this jurisdiction – transitory, temporary and permanent residents -. In addition, it is in charge of issuing and actualizing identity and travel documents. Per national immigration mandate, grants the entry visas for foreign nationals wishing to visit Argentina.

The staff of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic includes the diplomatic officials, belonging to the National Foreign Service Permanent Corp, the administrative officials from the National Foreign Service Administrative Corp, and the local personnel.
